Nineteen ingredients. Four stages. One formula.
Every ingredient in Peak-T is here for a reason. Lee walks you through each one — what it is, why we chose it, and the form-versus-weight argument we built the formula around.
Take your time. We did.
Four functional stages of natural testosterone support.
Production
Your body makes testosterone. Four botanical compounds support that process.
Liberation
Most testosterone in your blood is bound up. Two compounds support free availability.
Protection
As testosterone rises, your body converts some to DHT and estrogen. Three compounds support balance.
Substrate
The cofactors and supporting compounds that make everything else work.
Production
The first stage of natural testosterone optimisation: supporting your body's own testosterone-producing pathways. Four botanical compounds, each at its clinically-studied dose, each in the branded standardised form used in published human trials.
Tongkat Ali
Eurycoma longifolia · root extract
A Malaysian root traditionally called Pasak Bumi. Used for centuries in Southeast Asia for male vitality, stamina, and recovery. The active compound is eurycomanone — concentrated through a patented extraction process to a 200:1 ratio.
Most testosterone supplements list “1,000 mg of Tongkat Ali” on their label. That's typically raw root powder. We use 600 mg of Physta® 200:1 standardised extract — the equivalent of 120 grams of raw root, concentrated to deliver the active compound at the dose used in published clinical trials.
Form matters more than weight. We chose the form with twenty-five-plus published human trials behind it.
Fenugreek Extract
Trigonella foenum-graecum · seed
Fenugreek is a Mediterranean herb that's been used in food and traditional medicine for over three thousand years. Modern research has focused on a specific group of compounds called fenusides — naturally occurring saponins concentrated in the seed.
Testofen® is the only fenugreek extract standardised for these compounds, and the form used in published clinical research on male vitality, strength, and energy. Generic fenugreek powder isn't the same ingredient.
We chose the form that's been studied — not the cheapest version with the biggest number on the bag.
Ashwagandha Root
Withania somnifera · root
Ashwagandha has been a foundational herb in Ayurvedic medicine for at least three thousand years. KSM-66® is the most-studied branded form available — produced through a patented green-chemistry extraction that uses no chemical solvents.
The published testosterone study used 600 mg per day. That's exactly the dose we use. Most supplements include 100 or 200 mg of generic ashwagandha and claim the same benefits the research showed at three times that dose.
If you're going to add ashwagandha to a daily formula, this is how to do it properly.
Shilajit Extract
Asphaltum punjabianum · purified mineral pitch
Shilajit is a dark resinous mineral pitch that seeps from Himalayan rock formations in summer. It's been used in Ayurvedic practice for over five thousand years. The active compounds are fulvic acids and dibenzo-α-pyrones — molecules that support mitochondrial energy production and natural testosterone synthesis.
Generic shilajit is a serious problem in the supplement industry. Unpurified material often contains heavy-metal contamination at levels that fail third-party testing. PrimaVie® is purified to pharmaceutical standards and used in published clinical research for testosterone support.
Half a gram per day. Pharmaceutical grade. The form the studies actually used.
Liberation
Most testosterone in your bloodstream is bound to proteins and isn't bioactive. The second stage of optimisation supports the testosterone your body is already making but can't fully use. Two compounds, both targeting the protein that locks testosterone up — Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG).
Stinging Nettle Root
Urtica dioica · root
Most of the testosterone in your blood is bound to a protein called Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG). Bound testosterone isn't bioactive — only free testosterone does the work. As men age, SHBG typically rises, meaning more testosterone is locked up and less is available.
Stinging nettle root contains lignans that bind to SHBG, helping free up the testosterone your body is already producing. It's been used in traditional medicine for centuries to support male urinary and prostate health alongside its hormonal effects.
Production is one half of the equation. Liberation is the other.
Boron
Trace mineral · as boron glycinate
Boron is one of the most overlooked ingredients in male hormonal health. Multiple human trials have shown that supplementation at 10 mg per day measurably reduces SHBG and supports free testosterone levels — within as little as seven days.
We use boron glycinate, a chelated mineral form your body absorbs more reliably than the cheap boron citrate most brands use. Same mineral. Better delivery.
Ten milligrams. Clinical dose. Properly chelated.
Protection
As testosterone rises, your body converts some of it to other hormones — DHT (which affects prostate and hair tissue) and estrogen (via the aromatase enzyme in the liver). The third stage supports healthy hormonal balance through three compounds that work on the conversion pathways and the organs that manage them.
Saw Palmetto Berry
Serenoa repens · fruit
When natural testosterone production increases, your body converts some of it into DHT — a more potent androgen that can affect prostate tissue and contribute to hair loss in some men. Saw palmetto berries contain fatty acids and phytosterols that support healthy DHT balance.
We use the supercritical CO₂ extract standardised to 85% fatty acids — the form used in the major clinical studies on prostate health and DHT regulation. Generic powdered saw palmetto delivers a fraction of the active compounds.
If we're supporting testosterone production, we have to support healthy DHT balance alongside it.
Milk Thistle Seed
Silybum marianum · seed
Your liver does most of the work of clearing excess hormones from your system — including the conversion of testosterone to estrogen via the aromatase enzyme. Liver function matters for hormonal balance in a way most men don't think about until something's wrong.
Milk thistle has been used since Greco-Roman times to support liver health. The active compound is silymarin, a group of flavonolignans that support liver cell function and antioxidant defense. We use the 80% silymarin extract used in published research.
Healthy hormones need a healthy liver. We don't ignore that.
Zinc
Essential mineral · as zinc bisglycinate chelate
Zinc plays a foundational role in testosterone synthesis, immune function, and the regulation of the aromatase enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen. Deficiency is common in men who train hard — zinc is lost through sweat and not always replenished through diet.
We use TRAACS® bisglycinate chelate — a patented form bound to two glycine molecules for superior absorption and gentleness on the digestive system. Most supplements use zinc oxide (cheap, poorly absorbed) or zinc sulfate (gut-irritating). We don't.
Fifteen milligrams — meaningful but balanced. Too much zinc depletes copper, which is why the formula also includes one milligram of copper bisglycinate.
Substrate
None of the botanical compounds in Stages 1, 2, and 3 work in isolation. They depend on a set of foundational vitamins, minerals, and supporting compounds that act as the substrate for hormonal function, energy production, and recovery. Ten ingredients here, each chosen in its most bioavailable form.
Most testosterone supplements stop at the botanicals. We didn't.
Vitamin D3
Fat-soluble vitamin · as cholecalciferol
Vitamin D3 isn't really a vitamin — it's a steroid hormone precursor. Receptors for it appear on virtually every cell in the human body, including the cells of the testes that produce testosterone.
Most men in the developed world are insufficient. Indoor work, sunscreen, and northern latitudes all suppress natural production. At 4,000 IU per day, we deliver enough to bring most men into the optimal range when stacked with sunlight exposure.
If you only added one thing to a testosterone formula, this would be it. We added eighteen more.
Vitamin K2
Fat-soluble vitamin · as menaquinone-7
Vitamin D3 increases calcium absorption — great for bone health, but only if that calcium goes to bones and teeth and not to soft tissue like arteries. Vitamin K2 is what tells calcium where to go.
We use MK-7, the long-chain menaquinone form with a half-life of three days — versus the K1 form's eight hours. MK-7 stays active in your body long enough to do meaningful work.
D3 and K2 belong together. We put them together because that's how the chemistry works.
Vitamin B6
Water-soluble cofactor · as Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate
Vitamin B6 is a cofactor in over 140 enzymatic reactions in the body, including several involved in hormone metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis. Most supplements use pyridoxine HCl — the cheap form your liver still has to convert into the active form, P-5-P.
We skip the conversion and deliver the active form directly. Higher cost, but no metabolic friction.
Small ingredient. Disproportionately important. Done right.
Magnesium
Essential mineral · as magnesium bisglycinate
Magnesium is involved in over 600 enzymatic reactions — including testosterone synthesis, sleep regulation, muscle recovery, and the conversion of vitamin D3 into its active form. It's also one of the most common nutrient insufficiencies in modern diets.
Most supplements use magnesium oxide — laxative, poorly absorbed, cheapest on the market. We use TRAACS® bisglycinate chelate: clinically researched for absorption, gentle on the gut, and ideal for evening use.
Two hundred milligrams. The right form. Take it consistently and you'll feel the difference.
Selenium
Essential trace mineral
Selenium is critical for thyroid function — and thyroid function regulates the metabolism that powers everything else. It also supports antioxidant defense, sperm quality, and the conversion of T4 to T3.
SelenoExcell® is a high-selenium yeast form that delivers selenium in the same chemical state your body recognises from food — bound to amino acids as selenomethionine. Better tolerated and better absorbed than cheap selenite or selenate forms.
Most men don't get enough. We made it easy.
Copper
Essential trace mineral · as copper bisglycinate
Copper and zinc compete for absorption in the gut — meaning high-dose zinc supplementation without copper can deplete copper over time. Many testosterone supplements include 30 mg of zinc and no copper at all, leading to a mineral imbalance over months of use.
We use 15 mg of zinc and 1 mg of copper — the proportional balance recommended by nutritional research. Both in the same TRAACS® chelated bisglycinate form.
Detail matters. We didn't skip this one.
L-Taurine
Conditionally-essential amino acid
Taurine is an amino acid your body makes naturally — but production drops by roughly two-thirds between age twenty and sixty. A landmark 2023 paper in Science demonstrated that taurine supplementation extended healthspan in animal models and was associated with multiple markers of longevity in humans.
We added it because Peak-T isn't only a testosterone supplement. It's a daily formula for the whole system testosterone is supposed to power — cardiovascular function, mitochondrial energy, and recovery.
Five hundred milligrams. The most interesting ingredient in the pouch.
Black Maca Root
Lepidium meyenii · root
Maca is a cruciferous root vegetable native to the Peruvian Andes, cultivated above 4,000 metres. Andean men have used it for centuries for stamina, endurance, and male vitality. Black maca is the variant most studied for male energy and libido support.
We use a 10:1 standardised extract — concentrating two grams of raw root into each 200 mg dose. Cheap maca supplements use raw powder; we use the extract used in the research.
Old plant. New formulation. Same purpose.
Cordyceps Sinensis
Cordyceps sinensis · mycelium
Cordyceps is a medicinal mushroom traditionally used in Tibetan and Chinese medicine to support endurance, oxygen utilisation, and physical performance. It came to global attention in the 1990s when Chinese national athletes attributed performance gains to its use.
We use the CS-4 strain — the laboratory-cultivated form that delivers the active compounds (cordycepin and adenosine) at standardised levels without the cost or sustainability problems of wild-harvested cordyceps.
Modern mushroom science. Ancient performance benefits.
BioPerine®
Piper nigrum · black pepper extract
Some of the most expensive ingredients in a supplement are also the most poorly absorbed. BioPerine® is a patented black pepper extract standardised to 95% piperine — the compound that increases bioavailability of many nutrients, including curcumin, selenium, beta-carotene, and several B-vitamins.
Five milligrams sounds small. It's the dose used in the clinical research, and the difference between formulating properly and cutting corners.
Small ingredient. Outsized impact on what the rest of the formula actually delivers.
